Itutoy is a machine shop that focuses on fabrication of precision equipment and samples for scientific researchers. This includes modifying existing equipment, fabricating new equipment, and/or preparing samples which are specific to that researcher's needs.
We pride ourselves on using whatever technology we can get our hands on to achieve our goal. This includes, but is not limited to, CNC machining and lathe work, EDM, 3D printing, welding, and CAD work.
A partnership has been formed with Rock Sample Library to provide the fastest turn-around time for precision grinding geologic samples to the specifications of the researcher. We have recently purchased a centerless grinder, surface grinder, and other polishing equipment to keep all work in-house and maintain the precision that researchers demand.
